Housing Price
Prediction

In recent months my roommate and I have been looking to make our first house purchase in the city of Tampa, Florida. Amongst indecision and uncertainty about pricing and important factors to consider when purchasing a house, I developed a predictive model to estimate house prices using the Ames Housing dataset, which includes 79 features describing various aspects of residential properties. Using python, scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy, created random forest model to produce a mean absolute error (MAE) of $17,600 on validation data.

concrete curing
and the
effects of vibration

This project utilizes various descriptive and inferential statistical methods to examine the impact of shock vibrations on curing concrete, an important consideration for civil and environmental engineers. Building on data from Kwan et al.'s study "Shock Vibration Test of Concrete" (2002), which employed accelerometers and ultrasonic pulse velocity measurements, the analysis identifies how shock vibrations affect concrete integrity and explores additional factors like water content that influence structural durability.

Multi-Story Residential Building Design

Bucknell University currently plans to renovate the Bucknell West student residences, known as the Mods, into four apartment-style complexes, similar to the South Campus apartments. However, JGMA Design and Construction has been tasked to find, evaluate, and design alternative plans for the renovation that improve upon sustainability and the cost of the project. The following report thoroughly describes the project objectives.
